Frequently Asked Questions
As you plan for spring or summer 2026, you may have questions about what a Legacy Higher Ed Team Training includes and how it will benefit your admissions staff. Below are answers outlining the outcomes, format, pricing, and logistics so you can move forward confidently and position your team for a stronger 2026 to 2027 recruitment cycle.
What will my team gain from a Legacy Higher Ed Team Training?
Quite simply, training attendees will be equipped with the foundational skills, mindset and best-practice awareness to become the most effective recruitment professionals possible. One of the highlights of the agenda is a considerable focus on value proposition work, a highly interactive series of topics, discussions and reflection points that help admissions professionals understand and sharpen the “sales” aspects of their jobs. Each participant walks away with a workbook of exercises and notes they can continue to reference individually and as a team.
What team sizes can the training accommodate?
Legacy Higher Ed training sessions have been performed successfully with as few as 3 attendees and as many as 30-35. The training involves significant group discussion time, so any size group can be broken up effectively from the “lecture” portion into small group conversations, whether one group or many!
Who typically benefits from these training sessions?
The training content is geared primarily towards admissions recruitment/counseling professionals with significant benefits also for campus guest coordinators and enrollment marketers. Enrollment managers also typically attend as their capacity allows.
Are the trainings priced according to team size?
No, a Legacy Higher Ed Team Training engagement is a flat fee regardless of how many participants attend. Appropriate attendee guidance is given during the exploration discussions for interested campuses.
How long are the training sessions, and are they in person or virtual?
A Legacy Higher Ed Team Training is performed on your campus with the option of selecting a full day training, perfect for a fairly seasoned team who wants to focus on best practices and value proposition work, or a 1.5 day training that appeals to leaders of teams with a good number of newer admissions professionals, with additional focus on foundational aspects of recruitment and roster management beyond the other topics mentioned above. (Note: virtual and/or half-day sessions may be available in certain circumstances, but are not recommended for optimal benefit.)
